Cash for Caulkers Stimulus – a well- planned strategy
The Home Star stimulus program or the Cash for Caulkers Stimulus as it is better known has something for everybody. It is a masterstroke played by the Obama administration to boost the general morale of the peoples and educating the public sentiment at the same time. The discerning American public would be quick to realize that this legislation is a plan that would help them to do their bit for the environment while doing well for themselves. And coming with the possibility of creating jobs, it brings relief to the thousands laid off over the past couple of years. So what if this Cash for Caulkers Stimulus has taken inspiration from the previous Cash for Clunkers program. It has a sound strategy and strict execution behind the machinery of the legislation that will bring in good for all the parties involved and mankind at large. How many acts passed by the Senate over the past several centuries boast of the same virtue? The next plan of action would be to get an energy audit done so as to find out the loopholes in all the homes and do away with them, so that no more energy goes waste on account of bad wiring and duct sealing. Replacement of obsolete equipment is recommended and with the government aiding the exchange and proving a rebate, this step will not be harsh on recession-tormented homeowners.
